| Bring Me to Life, the second track in the album Fallen, epitomizes Evanescence's flair for crypts. In the truly Evanescence fashion, Bring Me to Life embodies a cry for help and rescue. The music video of the song lends itself to a surreal and avant-garde series of juxtaposed scenes screaming for release and the appeal to be 'brought to life'.
Fallen inked a lot of FIRSTS in the history books of Evanescence. It is the first album of the band under the Wind-up Records label. It is also the first one to hit the worldwide market--and charts--jumpstarting a seemingly almost evanescent recording career for the band. Fallen also stamped a series of gold and platinum records up the band's credits and tracks.
