| 3 Inches of Blood is a Canadian heavy metal band that has arrived to unite skaters, punks and bikers under one banner. Make that banner the skull and crossbones, because the Vancouver based metal band 3 Inches of Blood write about pirates and swords. But most importantly, the band write about heavy metal. Shrieking vocal assault of Rob Halford (Judas Priest), the epic guitars and storytelling of Iron Maiden, the pirate theme of Running Wild - that's what makes 3 Inches of Blood.
3 Inches Of Blood were signed up by big-label subsidiary Roadrunner Records in 2004. Roadrunner put out an advertising blitz, and the track Deadly Sinners from the band's sophomore release 'Advance and Vanquish' appeared on numerous sampler CDs, compilations and even a video game (Tony Hawk's Underground 2). These pictures were taken during 2004 Stage 13 open air live festival in Camrose.
